John began his investment industry career in 1984 as a Financial Advisor with A.G. Edwards. In 1994, he was promoted to Branch Manager, a role in which he grew the firm’s Vero Beach office from nine to sixteen advisors while serving his own clients as well. When A.G. Edwards was acquired in late 2007, John began looking for a firm whose philosophy on serving clients was more in line with his own. John joined Stifel in 2009 upon the opening of the firm’s Vero Beach office. He now manages financial advisors and support associates located in the Vero Beach office.

John has been married to his wife, Judy H. Orcutt, for more than 30 years. They have two adult daughters, Carrie Orcutt Bock and Tyler S. Orcutt. John is an avid conservationist and distance competitive swimmer.

She also worked at a regional accounting firm in Jacksonville and was an associate district manager for Aramark Uniform Services in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Carrie joined Stifel as part of the Orcutt Wealth Management Group.
